The beginning was a bit slow going, but if you stick to it the pacing improves

Not sure I'll be able to finish this. The pace is pretty slow, filled with introspective moments. Feels like someone is telling me about their lives and all their issues, so it's kind of boring for me. I like my books a bit more exciting or clever. No romance either.

I think I've been reading this for at least 2 weeks now (with some pauses) and I can't believe how much it's overflowing with useless details about everything they're eating and wearing and even the magic is a bit boring (when he's on his own making protection charms).
I hope I can finish this because the murder mystery part is very interesting

Snarky and fun, but right now they're planning the wedding and it's kind of boring :P

The story is equal parts sweet girly romance and fantasy mystery plot. Interesting and easy to read, but it doesn't keep me up reading it.

I liked the beginning, probably because I don't often run across hot office romances. I'm guessing that most MM authors are not corporate drones (such as me) and avoid this environment. As soon as the action moved into the great outdoors I started to get bored....

The super long family tree description was a bit boring... I hope the action picks up a bit

I had been lead to believe this would be a funny book... It's actually sad, in a resigned manner, and quite a bit crazy, in the way it fragments the timeline, skipping from one random scene to the next, alongside our hero that suffers from time displacement... Not sure I can finish this....

I wish i'd read this while trying to write research papers in college. It explains some things about the spirit of scientific methods that could have helped me a lot
