The jury’s out on how I feel about Efe

Another book that should have a trigger warning about self harm.

The story is so intriguing I’m actually not interested in the romance angle/it feels like a distraction

I know they say not judge a book by its cover but the covers for a lot of these Kennedy Ryan novels are wild. It won’t stop me diving into her catalogue but it’s taking me a while to get past the 90s soap opera style covers 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

I don’t know if it’s because I’m listening to the audiobook version but I’m just not buying it. Judah just seems creepy and their attraction seems random so the spiciness is even creepier.

Also Hendrix is annoying in this book.

Love the very real depiction and centring of autism, though. And I love that Kennedy Ryan never just writes a romance novel - she writes about real life.

An interesting book but I think I may have had enough (at least for now) of the self help genre.

Immediately not a fan of the Judah voice actor 🤦🏾‍♀️

Genuinely unsure whether I want to read this but I, once again, need relief from the TRAUMATIC books I keep choosing, and I was a fan of the next one in this trilogy.
