these places… really haven’t changed much

they’re writing hockey romances about straight people now?

i will never stop loving this messy gorgeous book

reread

at this point i have next to no idea what’s going on i’m just hoping at some point the suffering will have some kind of point

every single second of this is like getting a root canal that lasts 14 hours

“this should’ve been a short story” i’m gonna commit war crimes

this really is gripping

COOL! slurs

we start off strong by fetishizing the content of the delusions! 💀

reread

oh god another 14 hours of this

hard to follow up keladry of mindelan, but aly is growing on me. fun and fitting to return to trini alvarado too.

i love her so much.

the extent to which this series is superior to song of the lioness in literally every way. i would die 4 u keladry of mindelan

I know he’s a homophobic Mormon princeling brat but God damn Orson Scott Card can write

“but they’re not keeping up with the war in tortall” these books are not for adults nostalgic for alanna. they are for sixth graders who desperately want animal friends. god i love daine

unpopular opinion on here i see but i have shipped numair and daine from basically their first interaction so i am very excited about this one. the CHEMISTRY

i am starting over i think new murderbot is like new discworld for me in that it takes months because it’s so good i can’t bear for it to be over

the orientalism. woof

NEW MURDERBOT???????????

never gets old

i love Them.

my hold on this came in early bc the library obtained 490 new copies (!!!)

shelving this again—i feel like i read one story and have to think about it for three months

it definitely says something about me that i noticed the narrator listed is wrong bc i recognized grover gardner’s voice, but i’m not sure what

i deadass thought this was 600 pages long i love dense books
