Great lighthearted book for parents who are somewhat new to responsive parenting! She does a great job encouraging parents but being real about what it’s like to be a parent.

I got so mad at the author that I had to put the book down for a while, but hopefully we’re at a turning point now. I can see why people adore this book so much.

So far this book is exactly what I was hoping it would be. It’s really helping me reorient my expectations of my kids as they enter and go through adolescence, and it’ll help me have more compassion for them as they struggle through this major phase of life.

I haven’t read a book this quickly in a long time!
