Feeling a bit stressed by holiday chores. I want to read more!

Just want to add my voice to the general grumble. This new GR 'look' takes a lot of getting used to. I'm not even sure exactly what bothers me most. But why did they have to mess with what was working just fine? Still, I don't hate it as much as some people...

What would my life be life without books? Much duller for sure. I don't know how people go on without reading in their lives.

Still eating turky stuffing. I like it better than turkey. We always cook it separate and make lots of extra.

As thrilling as this is, as sexy, as well-written, I'm feeling like dumping it. Because the heroine is TSTL. she was from the first but I kept thinking surely she'd get a clue, the author would not use so many maddening foils. But we're at a critical point and she just made another dumb ads move

The approach of the holidays has my stomach in knots.

Continuing to knock out some of the countless samples on my Kindle. I should finish a lot today. Good thing.

I think I'll focus on reading some of the heap of samples I've downloaded to my Kindle. I need to clear some space.

I'm heartsick about the tragedy in Paris. This is the kind of time when I bury myself in my books. Escape is the word. But there really is no escape.

Ever watch a movie because you read the book? I recently re-read an old classic, And Then There Were None. So I looked for the 1945 movie adaptation. I HATED the Hollywood changes! Like having a different ending and an added love story which made no sense at all. I may seek out a more modern version where they, at least, keep the ending. That's kind of important with a mystery.

Lots of talk recently about a prolific romance writer who turns out to be a PLAGIARIST! Such people should have their thumbs broken.

Doing laundry today. Gotta get ready for Halloween!

Hirieanthial (not sure of that spelling) has become a little more likeable, but the MC is still a whiner. Why is she always so angry?
