Yakuza Moon: Memoar seorang Putri Gangster Jepang
So far I am finding this book really frustrating. I understand too well trauma and denial but dang like even my family wasn't this bad. She doesn't realize the cycle even as her father explains to her why he hit her and abandoned her...for being strong??? Ugh

It's very nostalgic but still deals with some deeper topics making it an interesting read at any age.

It's intriguing so far. The artwork is cool. The story is kind of lacking but I kind of feel like the vibe is meant to be this way. It's a strange scene and you have to have a strange view to get into it. So for that I think its interesting and truthful and might resonate with some other workers

DYKE, a memoir
This is the first book i have stuck to this much in a while. I tend to jump around between like 20 books lol. I'm finding it very cathartic and comforting to see another person's chaotic journey out of my home town and I hope to escape like she did.

All I can keep thinking is, why hasn't Tim Burton picked up this for a movie yet?!
