Why am I reading a re-telling of an Austen book I don’t like

Am I listening to this just so I can listen to Sam’s voice? Maybe.

Am I pleasantly surprised by how good this actually is? Yes.

I’ve followed Kacie for years so it’s great to listen to her read this book!

Maybe it’s time to take a break from ku romances because they’re just hot for each other and don’t even know the other person

This is honestly really good but it doesn’t read as much like a romance. It’s more women’s fiction.

This is my first Meghan Quinn and I am already in love with her writing

I am most definitely not liking Roan as much as I hoped I would. While I can understand his rough and touch exterior, he seems to have very unchecked anger issues.

When does this book get good?! I am now remembering why I DNFed this the first time because I am so beyond bored. There’s no chemistry and I literally don’t care about any of these characters.

Am I supposed to be so bored by this book? 1/4 of the way through and I like the mc (and all the Jewish culture references) but not much else
