DNF. Pictures were cool, some information very interesting, but there were just a lot of accounts as to how squids or pieces of squids were founded washed ashore various places, as well as anecdotes involving men spotting them and doing horrendous cruel things to them like cutting off all their arms…. Makes me ashamed of my species.

Good lord this book is taking a long time. Due back and not renewable at the library. I'll have to reserve it again. This people are just really dreadful.

This is One Long Book. I am finding some of it very interesting but find myself skimming over a lot of it.

Probably contains some truth, but so insubstantial one can't separate facts from crap. The author just does a very poor job at substantiating his claims. Reading this book is like drinking artificially-flavored juice-like beverage. It just somehow doesn't ring true. Just reads like spiteful gossip. If you want to hate Donald Trump, there is plentiful of factual information out there; you don't need this trash.
