I skipped to the epilogue. And that one was more exciting to read than the whole book.

During the first chapters I was ready to actually DNF:ing this book. It would've been my first in a long time. However, I'm glad that I stuck through. It took about 150 pages into the book to orient myself in the story and feel invested, but I'm glad I stuck through. So even though I don't like the style of writing, the jumping of heads and two timelines, I'm starting to see the beautiful crafting choices made.

Just when I started to feel like this might be the best book in the series, Juliette goes and becomes insufferably irrationally annoying. Again. I’ve never wished this much ill will to a fictional character ever before. God help me.

I’m literally considering DNFing this book. Last time I picked it up was 15 (!) days… And this is a library book shall I say.

Oh God. The only way I’ll finish this one is through audio I’m afraid.

Oh and yeah, I admire Ali for being able to type so much about nothing. I wish I could get hold of the audiobook because the prose is so hard for me to go through. There’s so many words about literally nothing of importance. I’m kind of jealous but also bored.

100 pages in and this must be Ali’s most boring book so far. I don’t mind the slow burn, or whatever this is, but the chapters are so boring. I just… I just don’t care about anything that’s going on.
