Mỗi khi muốn đọc sách lại nghĩ giờ đọc cuốn mới hay đọc lại cuốn cũ. Nhưng giờ đây ta có thể tự tin mà nói mình hiếm khi đọc lại cuốn nào vì như thuật toán trong cuốn Algorithms to Live by về Explore/Exploit cho thấy: khi còn trẻ ta cứ khám phá đi, về già thì thụ hưởng thành quả sau (đọc lại cuốn sách ưa thích, đi chơi ở chỗ ưa thích...). Nhưng giờ cứ đọc xong cuốn đang đọc đi đã 😂

God here God there. Have I still been the high school kid when I read Life of Pi, I would be completely washed away by the sense of a benevolent Higher Being. But damn, didn’t Elif Shafak write well. Her proses and character construction were top-notch.

Just to jot down some notes so I can find it later on. The copy I have is made of good enough paper and doesn’t play well with ink. A few pages back, the author use inconsistent grammatical tense in which The Master retold the story in January 1243 in the present tense but then referred the later event in the past tense. Am I the one who misunderstood here?

Can too much religious stuffs ruin my reading appetite?
