Trying to decide whether to DNF this or not. I thought it was NA, but it’s definitely YA. The FMC is one of the most immature, whiny MC’s I’ve read in a while. She gets on my nerves basically in every other paragraph. Why in the world the MMC is into her is beyond me.

Ughhh the FMC is soooo dumb and impossible to like- doesn’t learn from mistakes or take anyone’s advice. I can’t stand her :/

Ayyyyyy, this is soooo good!

I can see why everyone's been raving about this book.. The first chapter was a bit slow moving for me, but once the two MC's were established, the story took off quickly, taking me along for the ride. I only meant to read a few chapters, but before I knew it, I'm almost halfway through :)

I'm more than three quarters into this book and so far, it's 2 stars for me... I hope the ending makes it worth my while...

I forgot how great this book is! So glad I decided to reread- this time on audio- because it has not let me down.

I'm glad that each POV has its own narrator to help differentiate. Am I awful to say that I can't stand Lydia and barely tolerate Killian? My fave is Marcus, then Teriana...

This is cute but it feels more like YA than adult romance because the way the author describes the female MC is so young and inexperienced (though she's 25), and just generally the way everything is written, feels very young. ..

Yay, I'm really enjoying this book... maybe because it has a mostly Puerto Rican female MC from the Bronx (that's basically me, lol) or because the male MC is 'muy caliente,' but I'm loving it :) The only thing that's kind of getting on my nerves are the Spanish phrases (which annoys me with any language) because 1) most people won't understand, and 2) I understand, but 'Puerto Rican' Spanish isn't being used here.

I don't really care for Dimitri and actually have several issues with him, but I love this series, so included this one as a reread to refresh my memory. It's very well written, so not a hardship :)

This is really slow going for me. I'm trying to finish it since a good friend recommended it, but if it wasn't for audio, I would've DNF'd a while back- it's mostly all narration/ listening in on the MC's thoughts. Most of the dialogue (and not that there's much to begin with) is in the past tense from her childhood memories, so very boring for me :(

Rereading so I can refresh on the details before reading book 2. I still like it but didn’t remember the MC being so whiny..

I’ve reread this a few times now but this is the first time I notice the reference to the sleeping fae king in the glass coffin from The Darkest Part of the Forest :)

So far, I'm actually pretty underwhelmed with this story, which is sad because several people had recommended it to me :(

Rereading the first two books to refresh my memory now that book 3 is about to come out :)

Rereading this after reading The Dark Elements trilogy (I didn’t know it was a prequel to Storm) and man! Does Zayne always get stuck with the short end of the stick :( I mean, Roth is pretty to look at, but Zayne is the whole package *swoon* I wish we could get his POV..

Rereading this on audio this time and the narrator is so good! I don't like Fire as much as Graceling, but it's still an amazing story :)
