GOOD GOD.
its taking forever for anything to happen.
At this point weve had 2 conversations and they were frankly short and mostly one sided.
Her therapist and her work partner.
The rest is endless inner monologue.
Entirely based on fighting and theories and such.
Basically nothing happens.
But even when she is with the 2 main guys THEY CANT EVEN TALK. nor do they remember or have control of really anything.

Halfway through this series and after the first what 2/3 books i kind of wish i never started it.
Feel like theres so much going on constantly that nothings ever accomplished & the mains are hardly ever in the same room let alone as a family. Add in that its clear a lot of this is setting up cora and her series thats following and perhaps past ursula/magiguard stuff like its annoying. I dont want 3 realms problems.

Ive been trying to read this since it came out but its like reading some long winded maths equation. Like ultimate info dump complex alien society building add on the like idk style of writing perhaps? Idk it hurts my brain to read its like in third person or something its not how people think its more like some unending monologue of terms and conditions that youd rather sell your soul than read. Wish me luck!

I love this book waaaay more than i thought i would.
The nostalgia for a time before i was even born the sayings and such are all hilarious heartwarming and make me yearn for a simpler time.
I come from big families on either side so many of the stories and such are very reminiscent of stories from my own family from that era and the following generation.

Fern gully & thumbelina vibes AND I LOVE IT.
some suggestion at m/m but so far no graphic descriptions by said males or actual m/m scenes so tolerable 😊 i love that theyre theolder sorta outcast group too.

Loving the couple so far... i admit i was hesistant to read a full on furry mate romance that wasnt just short trashy smut lmfao but i finally did and once i opened it i havent stopped - sans my body passing out midway... at this point i know better than starting a new book in the evening but the siren song of new books is one ill glady suffer. Overall enjoying the story & am glad to be back in this world.

Finished the first 2 novellas gonna take a break from the book for now. I may come back and read the third novella but who knows.

Good book if you like the snowed in sorta rom com type contemporary concept. Dont expect amazing its suppose to be something fluffy to keep you warm by the fire i expect.

Im not a contemporary romance girl so it wasnt my fav but if you like hallmark type stuff then youll like this
