Daniel Sapier is on page 168 of 357 of The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry (Harold Fry, #1)
This was a "blind date with a book" arranged by my workplace library, bearing the descriptor "uplifting".

So far it's a brilliant concept. The story of a sheltered man who has lived a life of regrets that unfold during a walk across England. A series of reflections punctuated by the people he meets along the way. A reminder that everyone has their baggage and that kindness is always a choice.

The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry (Harold Fry, #1)

Daniel Sapier
Daniel Sapier is on page 93 of 184 of Fahrenheit 451
The novel was written in 1953, but still speaks out against the social norms of today. People do not seek to understand and people do not ask why. The world is divided; so black and white. Everyone is so unique that they need their own label. Friendships via social media are reduced to exchanges of a heart. We strive for easy happiness but few are happy. The world is broken - but possibly no more broken than before.
