Hope this book picks up a bit. It is my bedtime read and I'm only on page 17 after three nights. On the plus side, it puts me right to sleep.

I thought this book was supposed to be heartbreaking but so far it isn't holding my interest at all. Really want to give up on it.

The word "tired" must be Kristin Hannah's favorite word. She uses it on almost every page. Everyone is always tired or looks tiredly at something or someone. Even things are tired, like the tired curtain or the tired dress. She used this word excessively in the last book of hers I read as well. It's getting... tiresome.
