This is very entertaining and well written!

I don’t use Goodreads that often anymore, but I had to come on here and tell someone… anyone… who may see this, since I don’t have anyone in my life who would know… I am loving this book. It’s my first Ali Hazelwood, and I just love how she is writing the character of Lukas. Just a cool dude with a good head on his shoulders. 😍

Being towards a 3.5-3.75 at this point. It’s good, and like any other horror novel nowadays, it has a lesson to learn or has a deeper meaning. I wish there was more scary parts… and her writing is still a little odd for me… but we will see.

This is my first Rachel Harrison. I had to see what all the rage is about. It’s got me hooked, but there is something about her writing that I don’t like. I can’t pinpoint what it is. Maybe a tad elementary? Jarring? Abrupt? 🤷🏼‍♀️

I am really loving this story and writing style so far! I have never read from this author. So intrigued.

I think I hate these kind of stories. I just know it’s going to end with an ambiguous ending where you are left with your own theory of what happened. I hate that! I want the author to tell me what he’s trying to tell me! I’m almost to the end, so DNFing would be stupid.

This book is kind of annoying me but at the same time I have to know what happens. It’s also not scary at all. It is more talking about scientific and New Age/hippie stuff. It will be very interesting to see how it concludes.

Really easy but compelling read. I can’t put it down.

After not caring for Vicious (I need to re-read it and see if my opinion changes, as I don’t think I was in the right headspace to truly enjoy it), I am LOVING Bury our Bones! Losing myself in this richly crafted story.

How in the world does Grady Hendrix write women and being a woman so well??!! Well, more like being a girl… but still. I just got to the Fern giving birth part (heartbreaking the way those assholes are treating her) and I feel like I can feel exactly what she is experiencing. Fascinating.

My first Jewel E. Ann. I really love this. It is written so well and made me cry twice already… and I never cry from books. Isaac (don’t love the name choice) is an amazing man.
