This is my first Rachel Harrison. I had to see what all the rage is about. It’s got me hooked, but there is something about her writing that I don’t like. I can’t pinpoint what it is. Maybe a tad elementary? Jarring? Abrupt? 🤷🏼♀️

Being towards a 3.5-3.75 at this point. It’s good, and like any other horror novel nowadays, it has a lesson to learn or has a deeper meaning. I wish there was more scary parts… and her writing is still a little odd for me… but we will see.
