A new author that I came across. M.S Morris is a husband and wife team that create deep character development and complex plots in their crime fiction and psychological stories. I am impressed as to how this book is reading. More to come.

A new author. Jacqueline Winspear is often compared to Louis Penny.
So far I am liking it. Character development is excellent.

It's good to back in Three Pines.

Heading into trouble with a three legged dog.

Packard is proving to be an excellent police officer and human being. While being in a tough position, he handles it well. This is a person I would want in my local law enforcement team.

Just started book #5 in the Gamache series! Excited!

A gift from my family in New Zealand, this book has me captivated. While the overarching theme is about a Magpie (told by the Magpie) and his interactions with a sheep rancher's family, it runs far deeper than that. Great insight as to the challenges of raising sheep, farming and orchard farming with all of the day to day challenges they encounter. For me, that study makes the book a gem. More to come.
