Not bad so far.. but I’m struggling with how OVERLY descriptive it is. It feels more like a play by play at times.

Also maybe this is me, but the author has said people “shook their heads” numerous times when someone asked them a yes or no question, and that prompt always meant yes. I would never read “shook their head” and think they meant yes.

This is one of my favourite TJ books so far.

Intrigued by this - but not loving this 32 - 33 year old character using abbreviations in their dialogue (BFF, IRL)
