Excellent. Riveting. It has been sitting on might nightstand for weeks, and I finally began reading it last night. I finished 5e first quarter in one sitting. Therese Rocco is still with us, still obsessed by an unsolved missing persons case, and remains a role model for all women in law enforcement.

I just finished A Death in Sweden and gave it 4 stars.

I am reading this very slowly. It is a rich book, full of insights about travel, the US, and the South.

I just finished Falling in Love: A Commissario Guido Brunetti Mystery (Commissario Brunetti) and gave it 5 stars.

I just finished The Fourth Secret (The Inspector Montalbano Mysteries) and gave it 4 stars. It's another novella outside the regular Montalbano series and translated by a different team. A good yarn whose solution, as Montalbano remarks, is quite simple. What makes it work is Montalbano's typical cussedness in the fact of an unmoving bureaucracy.
