This has to be one of the most boring books I've encountered in a long time. I'm not sure if I'm going to finish it or not.

Rather slow, dull read. I like character-driven stories, but I just can't get into this one. I don't understand why Hitomi is interested in Takeo, who doesn't seem to care about anything at all.

Slow progress, largely due to a very busy life. I'm enjoying the book, though, and look forward to future volumes. The amount of detail is amazing and Dunnett is an excellent writer.
