Something tells me already that I won't be crazy about this book, however I am finding comfort in it.

Snooze alert.

Slow n steady. This one.

Everything so far is blowing my mind. The crazy part is that I'm now reading Huxley's The Perennial Philosophy while revisiting the Bible and Campbell has almost become a supplement to these texts. I'm currently on a real lame spiritual journey (lame because I'm not at a bible school or hanging with a shaman, just working a dumb job and being woman with many possessions) but I hope I can get some enlightenment.

Can I also say that on the negative side, isadora is an annoying hipster at times. Only a psychoanalyst & literature hipster rather than the suffering music & fashion ones. Her exploits are fun to read but no way would I be her friend. How terribly superficial she must be in real life!

This book makes me hate Freud. I knew I didn't like him but I didn't really know him then. Now I don't want to know him. Also, this is it. This book is everything.

I do not like biology class. I shall push on nonetheless.

There are a lot of cliche things that can be (and have been) written about NY. But McCann makes the city seem new.

So far I find Jhumpa to be a good writer. But must her brilliant, wealthy characters end so tragically without a really good reason why.

Just got it. Want to rate it 5 stars already based on illustrations alone.

Towards the end I enjoyed "Iceland Today" & "Airports of Light"

Stories get a little better. I enjoy 4 of the next stories I read.

So far, I've enjoyed It Is Romance and People Are Becoming Clouds.
