Finally made it to the 1900s just in time to start the school year. Looking forward to finishing this with my family this term and getting another on our stateside assignment.

I can already tell the 3rd act breakup is just going to make me mad. This book is too much like the Shippers

Scratching an itch, making me addicted to this series so I can find out who each of these brothers ends up with. One of the funniest things about Catherine Cowles is how much she hates healthy food. Lots of loaded pancakes, chicken bacon ranch, and rainbow sprinkles in this story.

Just starting this. The reviews have me nervous. I need Catherine Newman books to work because they are the right length for my English book club.

There are 3 times the amount of F words in book 20 as there are in book 1. It doesn't add to its literary quality, that's for sure.

Harry is a great writer! Maybe a little better than his mom. More concise for sure.

Oh my gosh finally getting to the end of this sloggish book. Really enjoying the past in Ireland but that's about it. One character will not say what is going on in her head even though people keep asking and it's INSANE.

This book is so long, and the premise is that a family of adopted sisters is missing one, and the one they're missing is already adopted by another family. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND why the missing sister would even want to go lay a wreath on the watery grave of a man who not only wasn't her father, but she didn't even know him! I wish the editors had insisted on shortening this book. I'll read it. But I'm not convinced.

I'm sad to start this book because it means I'm almost at the end.

This is an oldie, and it kind of shows, but it's a total goodie! I am answering the questions and doing the prompts for prayer and self analysis, and it's absolutely working. Sue Eenigenburg is an underappreciated GIFT to global workers.

Taking this super slow, one devotional at a time, and so far I really like it but I feel kind of dumb. It's pretty intellectual.

Have cried through every profile of the victims. These poor families. This is a well written and sensitive account of what happened, and I feel like I am being respectful of the families by reading it.

oh my goodness FINALLY this book is out. I've been waiting for this story since book 1

Read almost half this book in one sitting (yes I should have been doing other things) and can't wait to come back to it. Whoa!

Really enjoying this book although it's more cerebral than the junk I've been consuming, haha.

I hate this book! There's no romance ("his dimple made me smile" is the extent of the crush 80% in), these teenagers are lying to their parents about a secret, impromptu trip to Ireland when they should be in Italy, not to mention the fmc's brother is excellent at football but hates it and no one knows how into music he is. So unrealistic for 15 year olds. Also I've been jetlagged so it's taking forever to finish.

The format of this is UNIQUÍSIMO 😍

I'm desperate to be done with this book and going to take a long (permanent?) break from Elisabeth Elliot.

Just getting started with this thanks to the author and Netgalley. Already loving it. Sarah makes a life that seems impossible (quiet, studious, beautiful, enraptured with God), accessible.
