So far, I am enjoying some of the story. Sadly, this book has not sucked me in the way Brandon’s work used to. He used to be my favorite author, but now I don’t know if I will read any more of his work after this book. Assuming I finish it…..

I really am enjoying this book. It’s odd and entertaining. That said, surely I can’t be the only reader who wants to strangle Erin (the main character)???? At times she is perfectly fine, and others….she is an annoying, immature, ignorant baby. Hopefully, she will have a lot of growth in the story. Despite her absurdity, I am quite intrigued with the story and will continue listening right along! 😂

I have listened to a couple of hours of the audiobook so far, and I have to be honest; the book isn't really grabbing my attention yet. I find some of it interesting, but it's not gripping. I am hoping that it will pick up and I will be more into the novel. Fortunately, the book is not extremely long anyway.

If it were not for Simon's half of the story, I would be highly aggravated with this book right now. I hate. Let me repeat, HATE, the plot where the author feels compelled to create additional drama, once two characters have finally gotten together, in the form of self doubt and miscommunication. I get that they are teenagers. I do. Really. But this sort of angst makes me INSANE. Simon saves the book so far..

Just started this last night. I waited until close to the release of Drink Deep to start reading this. Now, I have a sinking feeling in my stomach after reading reviews of this book & Drink Deep. I loved this series. I hope it does not turn into one of those series that I just don't want to read anymore.

About 30% through. I'm going to interrupt this audiobook for another due to slow progress. I will return to this series after I have finished some other shorter ones.
