Maybe it’s just me, but i feel literal fatigue trying to finish this book

And i do wanna finish it, it’s the last book of the series, but idk, the action scenes don’t flow, the character motivations make no sense, the lore, with fae, magic, saints and random old gods, is a confused and confusing mess…

My goal for 2026: more written reviews, not just blank stars

I really really hope i’ll warm up to Kiela’s personality, because until now she was just insufferable for me
Like i’m all for antisocial and weird FMCs but idk, i just really can’t connect with her (yet?)

Caz is the highlight of the story for me for this first 30%

Oh and Larran feels like he comes straight out of a hallmark romcom, the nice villager who’s gonna bring love to the cold-hearted city woman

OMG i live this. It's funny, the crime plot is really good, the characters are complex, Cai is adorable, Peter is a little shit but i love him and Austin... Austin is one of my favourite characters probably ever: a sarcastic little shit, gay as a rainbow (and he coops with the revelation quite awesomely) and with a father complex Love this so far!
