First of my audio books to replace the news in my daily commute.

Picked this up not so much because I particularly agree with a "one mountain many paths" view of religion or because I like Matthew Fox, but because I thought it was weird it was in a bargain bin at a Kroger in 2026.

Y'all, these books are so good.

Ok, she queers the space within 20 pages. You love to see it.

First thought after the first sentence "first person from Jesus' perspective, bold"

Taking a break from my Jesus Book thing to read another novela by one of the authors who wrote one of my Jesus books.

This one is much closer to Pratchett in tone, which is fun!

The hardest part of this book for me so far is not trans Jesus (that's just fun and logical) it's that Mary isn't an ally.

I'm liking this, but I'm worried it was poorly proofread?

I might give up on this one. As an unfinished manuscript, it definitely suffers from being a first draft. A lot of "this happened and then this happened." Also, I'm getting the sense that no one else from the new testament is a character in this book, so it doesn't fit my current reading list anyways

Listening to it as an audio book. So far so good

This seems to be the 11th discworld book, and the 2nd specifically about death. I've not read any discworld books before. Jordan assures me this is not a problem

This is the best creative non-fiction I have ever read

The intro teases a very interesting book.

It's a little but Dune, a little bit Firefly, and a little bit the Expanse. And you better believe these characters have pronouns. All good things!
