Hmm this isn’t gelling with me - the King’s character and his duties don’t work - he seems more like a lord then a King, and the language used doesn’t fit the setting. And B is just too good to be real

Things I love about this book - an incredible plot, interesting characters who all have their issues, and most of all our struggle with who we are and the influence our upbringing has on us

Managed to start this early as i pre ordered it through riptide.
Having just driven to South Australia & back the opening page with the description of the boring highway, red dirt & flinders ranges resonates, especially the ten hour driving days.
