I just finished The Next 100 Years: A Forecast for the 21st Century and gave it 5 stars.This book is a big surprise to me as it is presented in a very interesting format and provides insight as to what stirs geopolitical pressures. I do not have more than ten books on my "must read" list, but this is one of them.

Altogether a great book and really helps tie in the relationships of the Bronze Age world. It does skip around a little and is sometime repetitive but all in all a must read civ book!

Profound detail and unconventional style led to a rocky start. Crazy, boring, and immature and absurd themes with the changing narrator made it as familiar as the garbage in my head. Finally gripping the stories that run parallel and narrating voices, a movie began in my head. DFW’s veiled autobiography is a development piece.
