My First Netgalley read! Really enjoyed Winter's Orbit so I'm excited to dive back into its world.

Already really interesting in its introduction, laying the groundwork for an interesting series of case studies into authorship.

Got to love false tension that involves introducing characters I either can't remember or are actually new to avoid getting to the good part. All the more thesaurus-y as well. At its core, this book is great but there's too much of it and it's quite a mess.

Better exposition than I was expecting but still just exposition. The writing is lovely, but there's lots of it.

Let's go back in time and learn things we already knew about the characters for a third time. Love the writing, but I'm sure all this back-tracking could be cut down.

I think the second part should have come first, but I believe the story is still interesting although very long and thesaurus-y.
