I know that readers have mixed feelings about this book. But I’ve already made it through 60% of it, and I have to admit — there’s something to those trauma-processing methods the author suggests. This method is primarily about exploring one’s family history. It’s interesting that he repeatedly mentions the Holodomor in Ukraine, particularly a family that fled from the Ukrainian Carpathians to America.

Добʼю цю книгу і варто на якийсь час припинити читати Алі Гейзелвуд. Мене вже нудить від одноманітності. Ні, все не настільки погано, як може здатися. Але це вже четверта книга, і таке враження, що скрізь описуються одні і ті ж герої.
