Hard to tell who’s the bad guy and why they want to suppress a book

Pretty fast paced, and it’s hard to know who the bad guys are yet!

It’s not a bad anthology of Robert Silverberg. Many years ago, I liked his Lord Valentine‘s castle stories, which were pretty neat at the time. Several of the stories I’ve read before and I wasn’t really interested in rereading them. All time travel related stories.

It’s a translated novel, so the English sometimes twists and turns a bit wildly!

Just started it’s a complete collection and I haven’t read these in years very entertaining

Read these stories many years ago when I was a kid. This book is the full story of Arisa and some hokey science fiction from the golden Age! Still fun to read! 🤪

I read this book before, but it’s been a while understanding about the long passage traveling between galaxies and what that does to the time passing on earth versus the spaceship. So far so good very interesting.

It’s like a young adult novel smashed into a historical novel! The sex between minors was offputting! Could’ve lost that and still had a decent book. I continue to trudge through it. 😓

It’s almost like Spin & Martie mmashed into a historical novel which turns into a young adult novel. The author really should’ve cut out the sex between minors which I found awful. We pick up at the University in South Carolina, where the two girls accidentally become broadcasting majors! So far so good, but it’s not really my cup of tea!

A short about a disease that makes people less aggressive. Our hero is not sure if she wants to cure it or not.

I liked this particular short about a new machine called MindWipe that can take you into the viewpoint of historical figures. However someone figured out you can spy on people right now in the present, not just past history. This causes much mayhem in society. Can a beleagured newly minted attorney find the cause and handle it?

So far so good.

I finished foundation now I am on the next book 2nd foundation on the chapter of the Mule, which really set me off as a teenager. I want to see how this goes now.

The best westerns are by Louis Lamour and L Ron Hubbard.

I finished foundation now I’m on the second one. I had written reviews on these over 10 years ago and I’m ready reading them now because Asimov is cool!

The book is great it’s great reading a book. I have not read since I was 18 because you’re slightly different perspective. Hari Seldon has predicted that the galactic empire will fail and they will be a dark ages for thousands of years but there is a way to turn it around, and that’s what the story is about.

So far so good we found a civilization that has electric lights but not much else. There’s a current plan to go visit them so we’ll see what happens.

There’s still plenty to read, but so far I found the history of the geisha girl as well as how Blackthorn intends to get his ship back. Still don’t know what happened to the crew we met in the very beginning. I’m sure that’s coming up soon. I have not read this book since 1980. It really reads a lot different for me now well worth it.

The book is great, but I’m only a third of the way through. It’s quite a big big book. I last read it in 1980 and now that I am clearing up my words using Kindle it’s a lot better understood. Highly recommend it.

The Japanese politics continue as they wonder what to do with our star as a pilot. It’s interesting that both cultures call each other barbarians, which I suppose they are each in th own way

Haven’t started yet but I will

The book of always meant to read, since I do like Larry Niven’s work. But I’m still engrossed in James Cavill‘s shogun. I’ll get back to this soon!

Finished it a while ago

Just started

I like the great detail but sometimes they go a little too much on the detail. That’s what makes the book so thick and so long I suppose. Also a little more violent that I remember. I haven’t read the books in the 1980s so this is good to dive into the old novels again.

It’s a fascinating book though a little bit heavy on exposition it’s still quite interesting. So far so good
