this book is so DUMB i'm reading it out of spite bc like why do NONE of them stop to think that EMMY AND JACKSON'S parents would want a rescue team out?? like? it doesn't matter if no one in the marina saw them leave, unless there's a weird ass plot twist coming later, there's no way their parents wouldn't want a rescue team. i mean it doesn't even matter the circumstances, i just don't get why THEY don't think that?
