Honestly like reading a crackfanfic with Original Characters, but probably with less emotional depth. Still fun if you’re not bothered by that

The plot is so secondary to how rich the characters feel to me

Every time I start with one of Moriarty’s books, I question why I didn’t open it sooner. She is a master of whatever genre this is. I love her ability to step into each character’s shoes and show us a completely unique aspect and picture.

What the FUCK. I was misdirected so hard by the teen love of it all that I forgot something was coming. Right up until the last few pages of part one had I forgotten the prologue and then I read on in suspended disbelief. Had to leave the cafe I was at for fear of bursting into tears.

Our current bedtime story! So far, too much madeleine obsession and not enough Batman. We’re groaning every time Bruce thinks something stupid about Madeleine which is honestly every page.
