Never ending and very heavy to read in bed.

A long time since I read such a page turner,. Lucky it’s Sunday, because I do not want to stop reading!

Loving it, now that, for me, is a perfect Christmas break novel!

Beautiful beautiful, heart wrenchingingly beautiful and so original. For me by far the best book this year. The first of Flanagan that I read and can't wait to get my hands on more. And I will re-read this one, very slowly, treasuring every chapter, it is just such a gem.

I am really struggling with these books. Weird and in a way boring and all seem to be so similar. As if it took 3 attempts and still none is the final version.

Funny and weird-All I love about a Peter Carey book!

Well the idea, the plot was interesting, however, the writing, the continuous repetitions and shallow charracters really got on my nerves. For me it was a disappointing read.
