Oh my goodness, the main character is a pain in the ass. She starts off a strong confident woman in marketing and kicking butt doing so. Since when is the marketing agency responsible for the manufacturing of a product? Why does this character have to be embarrassed for the actions of the company the company she was working for picks up a contract to market for? Does the author and editor think the readers are dumb?

Sylvia is on page 125 of 304 of Black Girl Unlimited
I haven't finished reading for the day; however, I had to stop and say my piece. The author says this young girl was raped. I whole heartedly disagree! Yes, a female can go into a situation and change her mind, but this young lady admits that she was unable to speak up for herself because she was too afraid. She cannot expect for this boy to understand her signals 😒, and when he doesn't he's a rapist NO.

Sylvia is on page 120 of 320 of How Democracies Die: What History Reveals About Our Future
At first I was really getting into the historic aspect of this book, but now I am not certain of its accuracy. On page 120 of the ebook it states that the Senate has never prevented a president from filling a Supreme court seat! What the hell! Sre they writing revisionist history? McConnell blocked President Obama's Supreme court nomination.

This story is excellent. The characters are quite interesting and can get you emotionally involved in the story. I am almost done and I am all ready missing them.

Jerome is on it again. I am trying to figure out how midnight's blackouts are going to impact this story. He tore Gideon's tail up. How he is he going to fare in this timeless venture.

Sylvia is on page 50 of 286 of White Rage: The Unspoken Truth of Our Racial Divide
Oooh, this may be the most difficult book for me to read this year. I could not imagine learning that things could have been any worse. I clearly understand why white Americans purposely set out not to tell the truth about the history of blacks in our textbooks. To do so, would not allow them to continue even to this day pretend...

I have begun this new book, and I must say it is intriguing. This is the tale that it used to justify slavery here in the U.S. I don't understand the reasoning behind calling the women that the Brits chose to marry wenches? It is nuts; they did not have to marry them. Oh, they were Christians so they say who treated other humans as mere cargo. What valiant heroes they weren't lol.
