Sylvia > Status Update

Oh my goodness, the main character is a pain in the ass. She starts off a strong confident woman in marketing and kicking butt doing so. Since when is the marketing agency responsible for the manufacturing of a product? Why does this character have to be embarrassed for the actions of the company the company she was working for picks up a contract to market for? Does the author and editor think the readers are dumb?
