really excited for this one after reading the prologue

Just started this but I’m so excited to read all the stories…first one was awesome and they wrote “release” instead of “fire” when shooting arrows so the historical accuracy is very thoughtful 🙂‍↕️

This one is going to sit with me for awhile (positive)

these books are so so so fun…just enough faux/pseudo science to make it all believable in the moment.

getting quite irritated (only half joking) at this book and its obsession with the miscommunication trope

so far it’s just been setup and characterization and it’s very well written and endearing and authentic feeling, but then I remember this is going to be a horror book and I’m so scared for how much I like these characters

main read is getting a little too serious. silly break

even just reading about house centipedes causes me to recoil….true horror creature

It’s getting serious with a whole page of notes and questions and theories I will not let anything get past me once I get to the fourth book

I need to go reread the trilogy first, I know I’m forgetting a lot and missing a lot of references that would let me appreciate this even more. Very trippy and everything I wanted so far!

I’m enjoying this one a lot more than the last in the series so far, very awesome!

This is alright so far and I’d love to rate books on the actual prose and plot and characters but…I am having such a hard time lately with poorly edited books. Really bad use of commas, or lack of them, in this so far and it’s making it such a choppy read. :/ Run on sentences are not a style choice!!!

Imagine my surprise when Chapter 1, as a kitten, she gets told she is going to cat hell for her mom dying in childbirth. Chill out!!!

so sad because I love everything about SK’s storytelling except the way he writes women… it very much gives that meme of “she breasted boobily down the stairs” :/
