I completely nuked Goodreads and all my shelves to start fresh. Sorrynotsorry for the incoming flood of posts.

I'm going to DNF this. The language and triggers in it for assault and abuse are too much for me. I cannot push through them to get to the meat of the Pennywise story. I love the miniseries and am excited about the movie but I don't need to see inside the brains of these wretched side characters.

The first short story in this collection was a little tough to read as it hit close to home with a lot of mistakes I've made in the relationships I have had. But at the same time it's motivating me to better my life. I'm looking forward to the rest of this book.

I am loving this so far. I do enjoy her struggle with the sexism that was the norm for that time period. While I am enjoying the love interest, I don't think its fully necessary.

Every time I think this book is starting to pick up the pace it slows down and it's infuriating. The flashbacks are great, the only place where the action really seems to be there. But it's interesting enough to keep me reading. Still unsure if I'll continue the series after.

These retellings are just amazing. So brutal, sad.

Wow. It feels like I just read a lot of my own thoughts and experiences in that last chapter.

It's getting more interesting. Still a fairly predictable plot but it is YA, and I can imagine as a younger less seasoned reader I may not see some of these twists coming.
