Do y’all like my reviews? If I started a sci fi fantasy blog or podcast would you be interested?

I am not a huge fan of Arthurian literature and I'm not sure why. Maybe it's that the whole star-crossed love and destiny thing doesn't appeal to me. There's not much new to be done with the world-building or the plot, so it has to be really good characterization or really good writing to catch my imagination. Bradley uses ellipses too much and seems to think a strong female character is Not Like Other Girls

I'm not sure that I'm going to finish this. It's got great reviews and the characters are certainly unique but it feels like they're concepts more than characters. They're not compelling to me at all. Plus a fifth of the way in there's only one named female character. I have 10 other books due back to the library by the end of the year, so...

This book is totally ruining my reading challenge. I shouldn't have picked it up this late in the year.

Having finished Euripedes, Aristophanes, Homer, Vergil and a couple of histories, I plan later to go back and pick up Aeschylus and Sophocles, but after this I will be done with classic Greece & Rome for a while. I want to read about things I'm not as familiar with.
