This is so frustrating, the first two books were really awesome, the third and fourth were ok, but this is just full of boring mundane life crap, where's all the excitement from the earlier books?

I'm only hanging on for a certain Lord John Grey ...

This is taking me quite awhile to get through than originally expected and I did have a hiatus in reading for awhile ... but now I'm back it, determined to finish this book, though I much prefer the setting in Scotland than America.

It's too the point I'm kinda forcing myself to read this and be over and done with it

I noticed a few similarities and differences in the order of events between the two mediums (book vs TV series) and personally I like them both, especially the interaction between Jenny/Claire when Claire returns to Lallybroch and Claire learns about Jamie's marriage to Laoghaire, which has been unhappy, though I do like how the TV series explored these themes further.

Omg!! love it! love it!! even better loved the chapters with LJG and reading more of the complex relationship or tentative friendship that LJG/Jamie Fraser share. I can see the similarities between the book and TV series but it's interesting to see the differences and more of a backstory that was left out of the TV series.

Look, I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer but so far, the direction the author has decided to go with isn't grabbing me as I was hoping it would. I get that this is supposed to be a reboot for the next generation of YA readers to fall in love with this universe for some reason it just feels flat to me and some of the main characters like Willow just seem out of character ... hopefully it improves ... but idk ....

Ummm what?! Willow was magically impregnated by Sineya when she activated all the potentials at the end of "Chosen"?

"Huh?" "Did I miss something?" ... so did the Angel: After the Fall and Buffy s8-10 comics become null and void and this is a reboot starting 16 years after "Chosen"?

if so, then THAT would make sense - Willow/Sineya conceiving a magical witch/slayer hybrid? The Originals vibes are here! 😂
