Lord Teddie’s obscenely happy attitude is just fantastic. The fact that he genuinely enjoys spending time with the girls playing games, exploring the gardens, being locked in the broom cupboard is so cute. It’s hard to choose which romance I am most interested in they are all so heart wrenchingly good!!

It’s now autumn and the girls are spending time in the gardens on R.B.
Every time the king throws someone out for being creepy I can’t help but grin.
The slow recovery of the girls relationship with their father is so endearing and comforting to read.
At this point I am trying to hold myself back from finishing the whole book in one sitting.
Now I crave honey toast and hot tea.

The drafty palace, colorful worn slippers, shimmering silver forest, porridge & cinnamon bread, late nights & sleepy mornings - all of the details that make this book my favorite book are coming back to me now. Fairweller is hilarious. The King has returned and Azalea and him are taking turns losing their temper and staring each other down. Keeper is setting off alarms. Like call him Creeper it’s more accurate.

I'm struggling to get through this book. I keep running into plotholes or errors that are so difficult to ignore. For example on pg 156, the author suddenly starts referring to Callum as Thomas. This goes on for two paragraphs before his name switches back. This wasn't self published, so I don't really understand how so many errors made it through editing. I'm going to try my best to finish, but we'll see.

So far, I’m enjoying this even though there have been inconsistencies such as Klara using a phone, stating she uses it instead of a laptop because of her dyslexia, only for the author to say “she closed her laptop”, a paragraph later. Or characters will be sitting and then they’re suddenly by a window or something. I’m still interested though and I really like the atmosphere of the Scottish inn in autumn.

Mother Dove's egg just cracked, Prilla doesn't yet know her talent, Tink showed her around the tea room with it's queen Anne's lace curtains and perriwinkle teacups, a little Clumsy tried to force Prilla into a dress,Terence loves Tink, Vidia's enjoying her stolen fairy dust and the hurricane destroyed the home tree! So far, I'm loving this book.
