Started my new Audible book… Loving it so far.

Chapter 27 — it’s a slog. For book club or I’d likely DNF, and I never do that.

Exhausted by the insufferable, un-ending entitlement and childish, tedious bragging. Ugh. Make it stop.

I loved listening to this on Audible while working around the house. The narration is crisp and engaging, the character voices are distinct & natural. 5 stars for the audiobook.
This is a wonderful backstory to Jim, as we all know by now. I know I’m late to the ”James” party, but I couldn’t stop listening once I started. I hope everyone reads this book at some point. For once, all the hype is well-deserved.

Another book I would never have chosen for myself, but has surprised me with how much I love it. Can’t wait to keep reading, but also want to make it last. I love that feeling. Slooow burn. 🔥

January 2025 VOC Book Club Selection.

This is more suspenseful and intriguing than expected. It’s turning into a fast read! The relationship between Martin and Sophie is becoming a slow burn. What is really going on??

Enjoying the narration and the podcast excerpts are great. It’s very clear when the text changes to the podcast.

Fine so far, but not as exciting, or endearing, as some of the previous books.

This is ok. The narrator is not my favorite? Is she trying too hard? It may be a better experience with the written book and my own character voices.
