I like it so far. Already, I think the writing is a big improvement on her past novel.

I forgot how cringe this book is, but it’s so endearing

i bought my own copy of this recently, and decided to re-read it since it's been on my mind during my latest beatles binge.

saw a Black classics book list and want to publicly hold myself accountable to reading the following (otherwise I'll forget that I intend to read these)

- for colored girls
- the count of monte cristo
- i know why the caged bird sings
- generations
- the piano lesson
- the street
- barracoon

i love this but i just want to know how it ends....

really growing on me, i think the black studies girlies would like this one a lot

Finally returning to this, feels fitting

I have to give this back to the library….

God I love this book

WOW!

Whew 😭

Wow, just wow!

I really like this so far — the meditations on sleep as performance lmaoooo >>

Idk why I put 150 before it will take me forever to read this

This is so good?

I entered and won a giveaway on here once years ago, and I literally never got my book. I messaged the publisher and everything and they ignored me LOL!

Hmm...

very funny so far
