Enlightenment!

so far, I'm not really vibing with it. i think I'd prefer to read it out of order. some chapters are heavier than others.

This book was very healing to me!

I adore how much food is weaved into this story! it feels Indicative of meals triggering memories of the ppl u share them with and the way it is a love language for her family (i think this is universal, actually.)

also Such a genius way to get across her heritage and the in betweenness she felt with her foot halfway in two cultures.

It was good but got bored once he joined the Marines.
