I think i know why I’m frustrated as a reader i haven’t been given enough of her back story “childhood trauma or whatever” to be like oh i get why she is how she is and why she thinks that way. There is too much assumption that whats been given is enough for me to understand her behaviours and thought patterns… I’ll keep reading….

And i cant figure out who its an equal investment when she shuts down anything to do with her family hut expects him to (which he does) like its all her, what she wants, etc sorry probably reading way more into this i feel like she is entitled and selfish and self-absorbed… I actually dont want these two together i think even with his faults he deserves better

I am 100% okay with women just wanting sex, sweet, got it, awesome-sauce, but no offence she hasn’t given him FA to show she actually gives a craps about him then she gets upset when he backs off or doesn’t do what she wants… though he is fully manipulating/engineering the relationship he at least appears to genuinely want a relationship beyond sex

….She is so wishy-washy and i know he isn’t sharing his past etc but CTFO …. Its like she suppose to be smart “street smart, intelligent and savvy” but “naïve, innocent and vulnerable” country bumpkin but not its confusing as hell trying to figure out of her character…. I think I’m just not bonding with her as a main character so I’m not really enjoying this…

I am hoping that FMC is actually just doesn’t have much emotionally intelligence… I have already picked up the MMC is supposedly dodgy but so far he has some self-awareness and can place his own thought to actions

Okay I’m gonna be honest I’m annoyed with the FMC at the moment, I am trying to most past it because I liked the premise of the book but I am struggling with it here…
