Yep - It's a no for me. I didn't enjoy this as much as the first one. The first one felt plot heavy, mysterious, and tension filled. This felt....off.

The writing on this is a bit choppy. There is more telling...which makes it feel heavy and hard to wade through.

just forget it - this is too much. I can't handle this. i am thinking i will put this down and read something lighter for a bit.

Okay - boys I'd say you maybe pushed too far. I have seen people reach this point, a dangerous razors edge.

I could feel nothing inside me but hate, rage, revenge, and empty darkness which could never be filed. They could do nothing to me. I was already too far gone. And when you have nothing left inside, other lives become insignificant. The four came at me, their frenzy feeding off their arrogance and ego. Not one of them believed, even after seeing me kill, I could possibly take them down.

I was just afraid that in sacrificing himself - no matter the reason - he took a vital piece of me with him.

can I just say I may have to end this series despite wanting to see the good guys win simply because of the stress. This seriously raises my blood pressure.

I don't know how many times Brexley can lose someone she loves. At what point does she shatter into so many pieces that she can't be put back together - even with magic and fate.

What the Actual HECK did I just pick up and get sucked into??!! Like a fever dream, something you desperately want to put down yet you can't; a scene you want to look a way from but you stand staring because you just cant turn away; a nightmare that you must see to completion; the movie you want to turn off (think Salt Burn or another movie) but you seem stuck - wondering how such a thing will turn out in the end!

a story of women's rights and the strain between sociatal norms and what they want as individuals - and a little magic too.

I absolutely LOVE this series!! I love Zander and Romy! Even though Zander makes me furious at times. And my heart breaks for Romy - she has always had all her choices taken from her.

Please tell me Hawthorne is NOT related to her! Gag

Zander is an _____ (insert any word you want here). He’s awful!! He treats Romero so terrible. IF I were her I’d really cut him off, not help him.

I’m a little angry at Zander. I mean I get his pov but how does he think Romero feels? Her entire life was taken from her, she’s thrown into the life of a person she’s nothing like; into a world she does not know. She’s given NO choice at all. Is hated, hunted and tormented.

Please (gag) don’t let Grim (gag) be Isla’s uncle (gag). Was it his brother that was her mother’s lover? Making them related 🤢🫤 it just feels like it’s building up to something like that 🫣😬🫤

Isla is ALL over the place and Oro is the constant and the steady. And she doesn’t even know if she loves him!? All this questioning: “is this love?” Girl! Figure it out already. Or is he doomed to an unhappy ending?

Please say Mak finds Pae and together they bring the kingdom to its knees

I don’t like “hun” it’s just ick to me. But I love Mak and Adena!

And the fact that we learn that Kitt was asking fur Adena’s help with Pae because he likes her and wants her to like him
