OMG this audiobook is just as good as the first. I am freaking HOOKED and am going to have to pace myself or I will binge the whole thing in one go. SO. GOOD.

I forgot how depressing dystopian books are. This is why I don’t read them anymore.

Aaaaaaaand there’s the betrayal 😩 And my prediction on Anassa’s mate was correct.

I’m seriously starting to have anxiety because I can FEEL the betrayal looming and I’m scared and I don’t want it to happen. The suspense is killing me.

I have to say that the direwolf bond is far less compelling than the dragon bond in the Empyrean series. Tairn and Sgaeyl are far superior to Anassa as far as bonded animals go and it’s not even close. I also have a prediction about Anassa’s mate, waiting to see if I’m right or not.

Ahhh snap, “only one room left in the inn” trope. I’m predicting there will only be one bed as well. But I am conflicted about the love triangle that is taking place.

Oh snap. Is this love triangle situation??? I don’t love those… 🫠 But I will continue. Gabriel’s voice is just delicious.

I am afraid that we are going to have a Tamlin type bait-and-switch here and I don’t want it. I am swooning harddddd for this MMC. 🫦 Honestly though, there is a possibility that it could just be Gabriel Michael’s voice. 😮‍💨

Hunger Games meets Fourth Wing, but with dire wolves. It’s a vibe. Honestly, Gabriel Michael could read the manual for my car and I would listen with rapt fascination. His voice is so delicious.

Okay, choosing to do an audiobook for this one was the best choice. The Scottish accent has me SWOONING.
