My hot take is that prepitente and Miriam aren't that weird actually. Not for this world anyway. They're similar to Carl and Donut in a lot of ways. That's my hot take. It's not a spoiler because I thought that last book too

This is very much a comedy of errors which is kinda nice since my reread of heaven officials Blessing is at the darkest part of the story

I'm about to hit the emotional core and I'm not ready for it yet so I'm holding off

The flashback arc is really annoying but they should've skipped the one in the last book and jumped right into where it starts here. I mean sure there's good backstory in that but it was overly long and the stupid parade stuff Was stupid.

This book though starts right with yongan's drought

I do like the ghost city arc
