I spend every waking minute thinking about and stressing about this book

I feel like I’ve aged 5 years after reading the past 50 pages. What in the emotional rollercoaster of a book am I reading 😩😭 it’s so good I don’t want it to ever end

I’ve genuinely never been this scared to start a final book in a trilogy except maybe The Burning God

not the diabetic rep being the bad guy and they’re joking about killing him by giving him fatal amounts of sugar 😭

nobody can catch a break - they’re not even at war AND STILL all this happens

it’s just too good

what I love about these books is that you really have no idea what Fonda Lee has up her sleeve
