I've read this before, but I'm reading it again, as it's one of the books which inspired me to start writing. I love the mix of humor and horror set against the foggy background of pre-dot-com 1990s San Francisco. This is one of my favorites.

I love that this book includes trans character. It's a very diverse cast of characters.

I am loving this book.

Whew! The first chapter grabbed me by the throat and won't let go. I'm starting off Halloween week with a real spine tingler.

I think it's going on the "did not finish" shelf. :(

We're off to an exciting start and I'm only four pages in. (Although the opening twist seems oddly similar to The Pelican Brief...) I like the pace so far. Maybe it will make up for how I felt about the second book.
