The suspense is killing me! I’m so scared of the way it’s going to end...

I have to reread this for an essay and it’s SO MUCH FUN!

I’m going to reiterate what I said last time when I got to this point in the story: I. Hate. Dean.

It’s actually painful for me to read this because the main character is doing so many wrong things. I know it’s because she’s hurting but it’s still really hard for me to continue reading. It’s definitely complex and realistic though!

Darcy’s pain is making me feel like crying nonstop! My heart hurts (when I’m not swooning).

I honestly feel like I’m listening to a movie instead of an audiobook, but I’m not complaining! It’s just more than I was expecting.

An American Airman in Paris:

I’m not really sure what to make of this story! I liked it, but I’m also confused.

Hour of the Bells:

I liked how differently this author approached the subject of love during the war. It broke my heart to imagine such a life.

Such a sweet story! I loved the characters and I wish that I could know what happens next.

The Record Set Right:

Again, a nice and (probably too) short story. It’s sweet, but not long enough to relate to the characters, especially since the story gors back and forth between the past and the present.

The Daughter of Belgium:

I liked this short story. It was heartbreaking and it kept me on my toes. It probably could have been longer, though.

Hmm... the second short story was cute in a “Meh” way. I didn’t feel the characters’ emotions, I only learned about them through their own words. The writing is more telling than showing, which I’m not a fan of.

My cheesy self absolutely LOVED Kasie West’s short story! If she ever writes an entire YA Christmas novel, I think I would probably be the happiest girl on Earth.

“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” Autumn calls for an Anne of Green Gables reread! I love this book. I’m finally listening to Rachel McAdams’s audiobook and I’m loving it! It’s so soothing.

Rereading in preparation for the movie! I hadn’t realised it had been almost 4 years since I first read it, that’s crazy!

My idea of a wild night? Staying up late because I’m reading a great book, even though I’m getting up early the next day. #bookworm

Sorry about all the updates and reviews I just posted! I’ve been absent for a while because of a terrible reading slump, but I think that Lucy Maud Montgomery’s writing might have cured it, so I’m officially back!

I’m already loving how much the author describes Oxford. I love books that are set abroad and that let me travel through them and this definitely feels like one of those. I keep googling pictures of Oxford to see what it actually looks like!
